Who we are
Anchor Point Publishing (“Anchor Point,” “we,” “us”) is a small, family-run independent publisher. This site is our press hub, intended for adult readers, educators, librarians, parents, and members of the trade.
Audience
This site is adult-facing. It is not directed at children. Anchor Point Publishing does not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18 through this site.
Email signup and educator unlock
The newsletter signup and educator materials unlock on this site require you to certify that you are 18 years of age or older before submitting. The 18+ checkbox is required — submissions that do not include this confirmation are not accepted by the forms.
During prelaunch, the form on this site validates your submission in the browser and shows a local confirmation message. We do not store data in your browser (no cookies, no local storage, no session storage, no IndexedDB) for the purpose of these forms.
When the newsletter and educator list go live, we intend to use a standard email provider to store adult email addresses solely so we can send relevant updates. Educator unlock submissions are intended to be tagged as educator contacts. You will be able to unsubscribe at any time from any message we send.
What we collect
- Email address — only if you submit the newsletter or educator unlock form once it is live, and only to send relevant updates.
- Name and optional school or role — only if you submit the educator unlock form once it is live, and only to understand adult educator interest in the materials.
- Direct correspondence — if you email us at contact@anchorpointpublishing.com, we keep your message so we can reply.
- Basic server logs — our host may keep standard access logs (IP, user-agent, timestamp) for security and reliability.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your information.
- We do not run advertising or behavioral tracking on this site.
- We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
If you are under 18
Please do not submit the newsletter form, educator unlock form, or share personal information with us through this site. If you believe a minor has submitted information, contact us at contact@anchorpointpublishing.com and we will delete it.
